SCARLET LANCERS

Raised as the Royal Dragoons of Ireland, and more recently playing a leading role in the Gulf War, the 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers are held, by all those who have been connected with the Regiment, in high esteem.

This is their story from 1689 to 1992 as yet another chapter in their 300 year hisotry draws to a close when they merge with the 17th/21st Lancers to form a new regiment to be known as The Queen's Royal Lancers
